To celebrate her 50th birthday (April 22), Regine Velasquez-Alcasid staged "One Night With Regine"—a virtual concert for the benefit of ABS-CBN Foundation’s Bantay Bata 163 held last weekend. She raised a total of PHP 4,259,839 through the concert, which streamed on ABS-CBN’s Facebook page and ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel.

Asia's Songbird kicked off the online show with some sweet birthday greetings from her nearest and dearest such as Jaya, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Vice Ganda, Lani Misalucha, Martin Nievera, and Sharon Cuneta—who then donated PHP 1 million worth of financial assistance to Bantay Bata 163.
With Raul Mitra as musical director and husband Ogie Alcasid as part of the tech support team, Velasquez delivered yet another concert to remember. She belted out to her hit songs "Dadalhin," "Follow The Sun," and "Araw-Gabi," and performed awe-inspiring renditions of "With A Smile" by Eraserheads, "Pagtingin" by Ben&Ben, "Istorya" by The Juans, "Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako" by KZ Tandingan, "It Must Have Been Love" by Roxette, "What The World Needs Now Is Love" by Dionne Warwick, "Home" by Diana Ross, and more.
A few special guests added glitter to the concert—among whom were her son Nate singing "A Million Dreams" from The Greatest Showman with her, and Broadway star and The Voice Philippines coach Lea Salonga, performing a medley of "I Don’t Know How To Love Him" by Yvonne Elliman, "What I Did For Love" by Josh Groban, and "Someone Like You" by Colm Wilkinson and Linda Eder with the Asia's Songbird.
Velasquez previously planned to hold a benefit concert this June, but cancelled it because of the coronavirus pandemic.
