The program includes wearing of prescribed personal protective equipment (PPEs) at all times, practicing social distancing, regularly sanitizing work areas and common touch points, as well as encouraging staff and guests alike to regularly wash hands.

Adjustments to boost safety measures

As what’s practiced in other distinguished establishments or restaurants, HII similarly implements the New Normal for its properties. Aside from their health and safety program, HII also places the welfare of its employees first by allowing them to take alternative work arrangements, providing complete and proper health screenings, and implementing digital communication. HII is also compliant to the rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Tourism such as disinfecting guests' luggage upon arrival, conducting temperature checks, installing acrylic dividers, requiring guests to accomplish an online Health Declaration Form, providing hand alcohol and disinfectant sprays for guest use, and sanitizing common touch points every 30 minutes.
